When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Hristo Arangelov sped through Quijana FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of 康德银. Tomas Paul was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Hector Jakes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quijana FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hector Jakes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomas Paul breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tomas Paul made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Jakes in the 41st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Quijana FC's Silvestre Tello got a free kick in the 44th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hector Jakes to make the kick off. Quijana FC's attentive Silvestre Tello managed to snatch the ball when Julio Karlo made a throw-in in the 56th minute of the game. 康德银 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Cebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Quijana FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hristo Arangelov came free, but 康德银 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silvestre Tello hit a great ball. 85 minutes into the game, Hristo Arangelov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ituzaingó's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quijana FC the free kick. The supporters of Quijana FC booed when Ituzaingó was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hristo Arangelov didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Ituzaingó getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Hristo Arangelov hit a great ball. Ituzaingó's Tomas Paul proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Ituzaingó from getting a goal against them. For all the effort they put into the match, the Quijana FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ituzaingó.
