The referee ignored Deportivo Moreno's protests and gave Benito Quinten a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Moreno's Benito Quinten got a free kick in the 27th minute. Delmiro Lorien scored 0-1 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mickael Zevenhuizen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Santiago Suarez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Santiago Suarez got free with Mickael Zevenhuizen in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Niceto Luix recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 60 minutes into the match, Tarragona's goal looked a bit too open when Niceto Luix came free, but Marcial Quintin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santiago Suarez succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 61st playminute. If Delmiro Lorien had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th match minute, Deportivo Moreno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enzo Dimo to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute of the match Francisco Nuxila shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcial Quintin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tarragona's Santiago Suarez got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 73rd minute Roberto Fantini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcial Quintin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Deportivo Moreno's goalkeeper Mickael Zevenhuizen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Santiago Suarez. After 76 minutes of play, Tarragona's Delmiro Lorien made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mickael Zevenhuizen was left in no man's land by his defense there! 84 minutes into the match, Tarragona's Santiago Suarez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mickael Zevenhuizen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marcial Quintin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Nuxila, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Tarragona's Delmiro Lorien got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 89 minutes into the match, Tarragona's Santiago Suarez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mickael Zevenhuizen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 94th match minute, Deportivo Moreno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enzo Dimo to maneuver through the defense. Denis Clodio hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The Tarragona players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
