Everardo Etxahun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justo Savier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 22 played minutes Amaná FC got a freekick which was hit by Rene Hegoi. When Severiano Ponc fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Manchester United's protests and gave Severiano Ponc a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Manchester United's Severiano Ponc got a free kick in the 36th minute. Angelo Abaunza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Candido Jakue having to interfere. After 47 played minutes Manchester United got a freekick which was hit by Mario Harkaitz.

In the 54th minute, Angelo Abaunza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Isaac Victoro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 58 minutes in the game, Angelo Abaunza fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Candido Jakue having to interfere. Candido Jakue didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Angelo Abaunza went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Manchester United's goalkeeper Everardo Etxahun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Angelo Abaunza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Candido Jakue tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manchester United's Everardo Etxahun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justo Savier in the 74th minute of play. Candido Jakue showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaac Victoro in the 77th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Manchester United defense, Rene Hegoi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Everardo Etxahun. The Manchester United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Everardo Etxahun should have stopped the shot. In the 92nd minute, Angelo Abaunza fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Adriana Panpili kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Amaná FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
