Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Conrado Richie kicked off to start the match. Lucas Egoitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boleslaw Zbydniowski having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gerardo Umbruso in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Boleslaw Zbydniowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 19th minute Gerardo Umbruso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boleslaw Zbydniowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eusebio Ferran during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 21 played minutes Sarmiento got a freekick which was hit by Eusebio Ferran. Boleslaw Zbydniowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Egoitz in the 32nd minute of play. Boleslaw Zbydniowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerardo Umbruso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Benigno Eriz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Club Alberdi getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Benigno Eriz hit a great ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lucas Egoitz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sarmiento's Gerardo Umbruso pulled a muscle in his back after 58 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 58 minutes, Armando Faso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Alberdi and the Sarmiento players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 59th match minute, Club Alberdi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Faso to maneuver through the defense. Benigno Eriz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Guzman having to interfere. Club Alberdi's Benigno Eriz got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Conrado Richie struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Armando Guzman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Alberdi. 82 minutes into the game, one of Club Alberdi:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Filiberto Terciero placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! If Conrado Richie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Lucas Egoitz came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Sarmiento fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucas Egoitz couldn't finish the play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
