The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute, Rickyteam's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Venancio Napier fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After some careless play in the chaque defense, Nunez Johans kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Severiano Iturri. The chaque fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Severiano Iturri should have stopped the shot. When Blas Lucero fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rickyteam's protests and gave Blas Lucero a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Rickyteam getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Blas Lucero hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Albano Henric managed to get in a good position for a shot. chaque's supporters rose to their feet, but Albano Henric was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victor Guib breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Denis Pelagius kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. If Albano Henric had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. chaque's Severiano Iturri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaspar Behe in the 20th minute of play. Victor Guib made an important save on a dangerous shot by Albano Henric in the 22nd minute. 25 minutes into the game, Rickyteam's Fulgencio Victoro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Severiano Iturri made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. chaque's Severiano Iturri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulgencio Victoro in the 37th minute of play. Severiano Iturri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaspar Behe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaspar Behe in the 46th minute of play forced chaque's goalkeeper Severiano Iturri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Albano Henric was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Rickyteam's Fulgencio Victoro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Severiano Iturri narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Victor Guib showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albano Henric in the 52nd minute of the match. Vinicio Oalo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 55 minutes into the match, chaque's goalkeeper Severiano Iturri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gaspar Behe. chaque's Severiano Iturri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulgencio Victoro in the 56th minute of play. Severiano Iturri was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fulgencio Victoro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 64 minute of play. In the 67th minute Blas Lucero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severiano Iturri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Severiano Iturri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulgencio Victoro in the 68th minute of play. Pedro Abastas's late challenge caught a Rickyteam's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedro Abastas helped the player get up and apologised. In the 70th minute, one of chaque:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for chaque. In the 75th minute, Rickyteam's Fulgencio Victoro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. In the 82nd minute, Rickyteam's Fulgencio Victoro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Severiano Iturri. Severiano Iturri yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. Gaspar Behes short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Severiano Iturri to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience was convinced that Nunez Johans's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Severiano Iturri was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. 91 minutes into the match, chaque's goal looked a bit too open when Fulgencio Victoro came free, but Severiano Iturri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Severiano Iturri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Ekain in the 96th minute. Rickyteam's Victor Guib played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albano Henric in the 97th minute of play. Rickyteam's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
