A collision led to Don Quijote FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Alejandro Clis hit a great ball. After having played for 7 minutes, Leonardo Txartiko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bote FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonardo Txartiko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ruben Txordon in the 10thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mauricio Boniel, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Don Quijote FC's Mauricio Boniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeledon Bertin in the 11th minute of play. Lucas Eli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alpo Pakarinen in the 14th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ramon Raebert during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 16th match minute, Don Quijote FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramon Raebert to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute, Zeledon Bertin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lucas Eli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uriel Perrando in the 19th minute of play. Mauricio Boniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeledon Bertin, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After a rather tough play, Don Quijote FC's Efrain Frasco got a free kick in the 29th minute. With his leg Mauricio Boniel managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when Bote FC's Zeledon Bertin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ruben Txordon got free with Mauricio Boniel in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ramon Raebert hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Leonardo Txartiko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bote FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonardo Txartiko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mauricio Boniel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 42nd minute, Ruben Txordon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bote FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. The supporters of Bote FC booed when Don Quijote FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Frasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alpo Pakarinen to make the kick off. Don Quijote FC's Mauricio Boniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeledon Bertin in the 54th minute of play. After 57 played minutes Uriel Perrando rounded Bote FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-2. Mauricio Boniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeledon Bertin in the 60th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zeledon Bertin in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mauricio Boniel saved Don Quijote FC from getting behind. In the 63rd minute Ruben Txordon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauricio Boniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeledon Bertin in the 65th minute of play forced Don Quijote FC's goalkeeper Mauricio Boniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucas Eli was out of position in the 66 minute of play, and Uriel Perrando capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Uriel Perrando really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. Jairo Firman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauricio Boniel having to interfere. Horacio Orlin hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. The supporters of Bote FC booed when Don Quijote FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Frasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Zeledon Bertin managed to get in a good position for a shot.
