Elia Fontanive made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sabino Vides in the 19th minute of play. Feliberto Silban struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. A wasted opportunity for Nueva Chicago SL. 25 minutes into the match, club atletico boca junior's goal looked a bit too open when Sabino Vides came free, but Elia Fontanive reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of club atletico boca junior booed when Nueva Chicago SL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pascual Atauri didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 28 played minutes Nueva Chicago SL got a freekick which was hit by Yan Quadros. club atletico boca junior's Elia Fontanive proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save club atletico boca junior from getting a goal against them. In the 34th minute, Halim Emiroğlu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rodrigo Darien was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. A sloppy throw-in by Jonas Cruz in the 44th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by club atletico boca junior's Mariano Roldan. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sabino Vides stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Richárd Paszkál got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Filiberto Quinteros kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Jonas Cruz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nueva Chicago SL's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonas Cruz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elia Fontanive breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Elia Fontanive took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliberto Silban, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aquiles Aureo kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Sabino Vides sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matias Gar hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. club atletico boca junior's Romeo Barbosa was substituted for Matias Gar. A collision led to Nueva Chicago SL getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Yan Quadros hit a great ball. When Halim Emiroğlu came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the club atletico boca junior fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Halim Emiroğlu couldn't finish the play. club atletico boca junior made a substitution. Diego Cordeiro replaced Richárd Paszkál. Fernan Gorosti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 87th minute, Pascual Atauri left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nueva Chicago SL fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Sabino Vides recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nueva Chicago SL's Rodrigo Darien proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Nueva Chicago SL from getting a goal against them. Pascual Atauri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
