Natalio Virila charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Natalio Virila the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Armando Indalecio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filiberto Tuste, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Reynaldo Inocente got free with Angelo Gonza in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 24 minutes into the match, Palmar AFC's goalkeeper Angelo Gonza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Sotil. 25 minutes into the game, Armando Ticho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Palmar AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CHARRAS the free kick. Armando Ticho hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Palmar AFC's Angelo Gonza got control of the ball when Reynaldo Inocente tried to sneak it across the goal line. Angelo Gonza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ladislao Abella, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Ladislao Abella stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Angelo Gonza. 2-0. If Carlos Sotil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reynaldo Inocente scored 3-0 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Angelo Gonza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Palmar AFC's Filiberto Tuste got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Angelo Gonza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ladislao Abella, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute of the match CHARRAS got a corner. Palmar AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ladislao Abella ran over to the corner to take the kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aquiles Asier got free with Armando Indalecio in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aquiles Asier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Armando Indalecio made a huge save. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The CHARRAS fans cheered their team off the field, for while Palmar AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
