With a left leg Edgard Montae saved Araujo from getting behind. When Salvador Omero fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arribeños's protests and gave Salvador Omero a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Arribeños getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Salvador Omero hit a great ball. Elpidio Katia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Araujo's Edgard Montae played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salvador Omero in the 15th minute of play. Silvestre Theobald hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Araujo's goalkeeper Edgard Montae, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 21 minutes into the game, Evelio Weather was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Araujo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arribeños the free kick. Evelio Weather hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. 22 minutes into the match, Arribeños's Enrique Euloxu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edgard Montae narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Enrique Euloxu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgard Montae having to interfere. After having played for 32 minutes, Enrique Euloxu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arribeños's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enrique Euloxu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 33rd match minute, Araujo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evelio Weather to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute, Elpidio Katia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Filomeno Gasteiz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Filomeno Gasteiz struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Edgard Montae didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arribeños. The Araujo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Arribeños were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leandro Gentza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Filomeno Gasteiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Leandro Gentza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edgard Montae was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Edgard Montae had great luck who in the 65thth minute grab hold of the ball when Leandro Gentza from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Arribeños were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after Araujo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Salvador Omero took the corner. After taking down the ball on Arribeños's corner Salvador Omero fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Edgard Montae quite easily take care of the ball. 71 minutes into the game, Elpidio Katia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Paolo Bernabel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 74 minutes into the match, Araujo's goalkeeper Edgard Montae had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enrique Euloxu. Edgard Montae made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Leandro Gentza sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Araujo's Jacobo Perutxo got a free kick in the 76th minute. Salvador Omero was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 77th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Paolo Bernabel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elpidio Katia in the 83rd minute of play. Arribeños were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after Araujo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Salvador Omero took the corner. Filomeno Gasteiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgard Montae having to interfere. A collision led to Arribeños getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Salvador Omero hit a great ball. Arribeños were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
