The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Eustaquio Otsoko hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. In the 6th minute, Alejo Harri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. C.A.Independiente Juniors's Baltasar Herena got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After recieving a nice pass, C.A.Independiente Juniors's Venancio Dominic tried to score from far away in the 16th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, C.A.Independiente Juniors's Leonel Servando got a free kick in the 19th minute. After having played for 20 minutes, Federico Seme managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olfen Rica B.R.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Federico Seme was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 23rd minute, Federico Seme got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 28th minute, Olfen Rica B.R.'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Alejo Harri fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Cristobal Havier kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in C.A.Independiente Juniors's zone, Raimundo Chucho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Javier Ignatius came out of the goal and Raimundo Chucho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Alejo Harri kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Antonio Eguntsenti. That made the score 1-0 in the 36 minute of play. Raimundo Chucho kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Baltasar Herena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Alejo Laurgain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Federico Seme took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Javier Ignatius. Javier Ignatius dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The wind increased when Federico Seme made the kick off in the second half. If Baltasar Herena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 59th minute, Sergio Martxelin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 62 minutes into the match, C.A.Independiente Juniors's goalkeeper Javier Ignatius had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alejo Laurgain. If Baltasar Herena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antonio Eguntsenti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alejo Harri, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Baltasar Herena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Antonio Eguntsenti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alejo Laurgain might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Javier Ignatius. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alejo Laurgain ran back to his position shaking his head. Federico Seme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Javier Ignatius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonel Servando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Antonio Eguntsenti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Baltasar Herena made a precise shot to the right of Antonio Eguntsenti. Olfen Rica B.R.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Alejo Laurgain succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-2 in the 85th playminute. In the 90th match minute, Olfen Rica B.R. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eustaquio Otsoko to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baltasar Herena in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Antonio Eguntsenti saved Olfen Rica B.R. from getting behind. When Baltasar Herena came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the C.A.Independiente Juniors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baltasar Herena couldn't finish the play. Eugenio Minati hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match.
