Andres Ortzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Denis Ekaitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ulises Fernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Apolo Crispo was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Edelmiro Rubio managed to get in a good position for a shot. S.F.C Villa Martelli's supporters rose to their feet, but Edelmiro Rubio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edelmiro Rubio might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Denis Ekaitz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edelmiro Rubio ran back to his position shaking his head. 89 minutes into the match, Blaquier FC's goal looked a bit too open when David Heli came free, but Denis Ekaitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 89 played minutes Blaquier FC got a freekick which was hit by Apolo Crispo. After a defensive mix-up in Blaquier FC's zone, Edelmiro Rubio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Denis Ekaitz came out of the goal and Edelmiro Rubio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 94 minutes into the game, S.F.C Villa Martelli's Edelmiro Rubio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Denis Ekaitz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. When the referee ended the match the S.F.C Villa Martelli players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
