Joaquin Nuñez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteve Monte having to interfere. Omar Isidor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteve Monte having to interfere. Hector Jurgi might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Esteve Monte. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hector Jurgi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Esteve Monte read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joaquin Nuñez to strike the kick off in the second half. Miguel Vedillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celso Kinsen in the 51st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Isidor in the 56th minute of play forced Nico FC's goalkeeper Esteve Monte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joaquin Nuñez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Miguel Vedillo made an important save on a dangerous shot by 孟军政 in the 61st minute. 63 minutes into the game, Felix Franco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nico FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Racing Club the free kick. In the 63rd match minute, Nico FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Franco to maneuver through the defense.
