Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Jimeno Quintana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Vedillo having to interfere. 8 minutes into the match, Diamante FC's goalkeeper Rodrigo Abalos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joaquin Nuñez. After 11 played minutes Diamante FC got a freekick which was hit by Fabricio Baraquiel. Fabricio Baraquiel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th minute, Fabricio Baraquiel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Francisco Bela fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Racing Club's protests and gave Francisco Bela a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Diamante FC booed when Racing Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Bela didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Diamante FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Camilo Bixintxo hit a great ball. Camilo Bixintxo hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Joaquin Nuñez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Rodrigo Abalos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Fabricio Baraquiel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabricio Baraquiel took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Miguel Vedillo. Miguel Vedillo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 46 played minutes Diamante FC got a freekick which was hit by Moises Playo. Rodrigo Abalos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquin Nuñez in the 47th minute of play.

Jimeno Quintana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Diamante FC's Fabricio Baraquiel got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joaquin Nuñez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jimeno Quintana received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Miguel Vedillo came out and tried to block the shot, but Jimeno Quintana slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 73rd minute. The supporters of Diamante FC booed when Racing Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Omar Isidor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Diamante FC's Jimeno Quintana got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Miguel Vedillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimeno Quintana in the 90th minute of play. When Omar Isidor came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Racing Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Omar Isidor couldn't finish the play. The Diamante FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Diamante FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
