Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Danilo Cordarin took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th minute Robustiano Llorenc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Bemabe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Javier Bemabe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaspar Frutos in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th minute Edelmiro Ishmael shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Chorche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 10 played minutes Club Atlético Lanús Este got a freekick which was hit by Fabio Bilintx. Edelmiro Ishmael received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Humberto Chorche came out and tried to block the shot, but Edelmiro Ishmael slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 12th minute. Javier Bemabe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danilo Cordarin in the 15th minute of the match. The supporters of Estudiantes BA booed when Club Atlético Lanús Este was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrique Terra didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danilo Cordarin in the 19th minute of play forced Club Atlético Lanús Este's goalkeeper Javier Bemabe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the game, Gaspar Frutos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Javier Bemabe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edelmiro Ishmael stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Humberto Chorche stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edelmiro Ishmael's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Lanús Este's Hermengildo Beila got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 58th minute, Danilo Cordarin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Javier Bemabe. The goal made the score 1-4. Club Atlético Lanús Este's Javier Bemabe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Club Atlético Lanús Este from getting a goal against them. In the 73rd minute of the match, Danilo Cordarin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Javier Bemabe saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a defensive mix-up in Estudiantes BA's zone, Edelmiro Ishmael stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Humberto Chorche came out of the goal and Edelmiro Ishmael tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Estudiantes BA's Anastasio Paskal was substituted for Robustiano Llorenc. Estudiantes BA's Atilano Herensuge managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by 林星桑 in the 78 minute of the game. Estudiantes BA's Anastasio Paskal got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Humberto Chorche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Garcia in the 81st minute of the match. Javier Bemabe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danilo Cordarin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Club Atlético Lanús Este's Javier Bemabe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaspar Frutos in the 92nd minute of play. When Ivan Hurtado fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atlético Lanús Este's protests and gave Ivan Hurtado a yellow card for diving instead. After 96 played minutes Club Atlético Lanús Este got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Hurtado.
