Gerardo Ofelio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremias Bonadona having to interfere. Gerardo Ofelio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Jeremias Bonadona tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28thth minute of the game Gerardo Ofelio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C A RIVER PLATE's Jeremias Bonadona was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 32 minutes into the game, Rogelio Marko was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C A RIVER PLATE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ranquilcó FC the free kick. Jeremias Bonadona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Florin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeremias Bonadona showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Florin, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Fernando Polo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nunez Hechter in the 63rd minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Santiago Pietro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fernando Polo. Ranquilcó FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Santiago Pietro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1.
