In the 7th minute, Maximo Orain got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 9 played minutes Marietas FC got a freekick which was hit by Donato Sabino. The supporters of Marietas FC booed when Islas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Constantino Goren didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Constantino Goren in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emilio Ipar saved Marietas FC from getting behind. The supporters of Islas booed when Marietas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denis Benet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maximo Orain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilio Ipar having to interfere. Ernesto Miro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charly Viander having to interfere. Ernesto Miro's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Charly Viander firmly grabbed it by the left post. Charly Viander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serafino Ordono in the 39th minute of the match. If Arsenio Bernebe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 45 minutes into the match, Islas's Maximo Orain sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emilio Ipar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marietas FC's Emilio Ipar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximo Orain in the 46th minute of play. 48 minutes into the match, Maximo Orain had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emilio Ipar. Marietas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maximo Orain was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Blas Celio to make the kick off. Maximo Orain recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 60th minute Maximo Orain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Ipar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Charly Viander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blas Celio in the 63rd minute of play. In the 68th minute, Fulgencio Guillem hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 70 played minutes Islas got a freekick which was hit by Froilan Manex. 73 minutes into the match, Marietas FC's goalkeeper Emilio Ipar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maximo Orain. Blas Celio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Charly Viander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ruperto Uzuri who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 80thth minute tested the skills of Emilio Ipar when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 82 minutes into the match, Marietas FC's goalkeeper Emilio Ipar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maximo Orain. Maximo Orain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilio Ipar having to interfere. In the 86th match minute, Marietas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serafino Ordono to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st minute Blas Celio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charly Viander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
