Sergio Gartzen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolf Boyesen in the 14th minute of play. 16 minutes into the game, Conrado Urtats cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Sergio Gartzen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 19 minutes into the match, Copenhagen Wolves FC's goalkeeper Sergio Gartzen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Conrado Urtats. The supporters of Messi FC booed when Copenhagen Wolves FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ceferino Sabin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rolf Boyesen hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute, Messi FC's Rolf Boyesen ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sergio Gartzen. Sergio Gartzen yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. Albano Vargas kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Sergio Gartzen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Conrado Urtats went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Aurelio Oalo might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Generoso Darien. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aurelio Oalo ran back to his position shaking his head. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aurelio Oalo was the one to do the kick off. Ceferino Sabin hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaston Iturri in the 56th minute of play forced Copenhagen Wolves FC's goalkeeper Sergio Gartzen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Messi FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. When Albano Vargas fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Messi FC's protests and gave Albano Vargas a yellow card for diving instead. Sergio Gartzen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severino Daunte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Copenhagen Wolves FC defense, Rolf Boyesen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sergio Gartzen. The Copenhagen Wolves FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sergio Gartzen should have stopped the shot. There was no doubt that Messi FC were the better team. Messi FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
