Efrain Firme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basilio Polo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Julio Maule had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eloy Koldobika in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Efrain Firme saved Los Tigres from getting behind. Froilan Abecia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Rameriz, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 39th match minute, Los Tigres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernan Flor to maneuver through the defense. Julio Maule fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Efrain Firme having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gerardo Ramone stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Las Heras F.C's goalkeeper Froilan Abecia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Las Heras F.C's Froilan Abecia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Rameriz in the 54th minute of play. Efrain Firme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eloy Koldobika in the 60th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, Los Tigres's goalkeeper Efrain Firme had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julio Maule. After a defensive mix-up in Los Tigres's zone, Julio Maule stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Efrain Firme came out of the goal and Julio Maule tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leo Rameriz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Froilan Abecia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Octavio Fidencio hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gerardo Ramone in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Froilan Abecia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A well-hit corner resulted in Paulo Montxo heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. If Julio Maule had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 90 minutes, Gerardo Ramone managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Tigres's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerardo Ramone was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 94th minute, Gerardo Ramone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Froilan Abecia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Rameriz, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Las Heras F.C's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
