Rucachoroi AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Florencio Bingen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Jairo Criston had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mario Jayvier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Federico Pudes in the 23rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Florencio Bingen in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mario Jayvier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rucachoroi AFC's Mario Jayvier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florencio Bingen in the 29th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Dionisia's Federico Pudes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mario Jayvier narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Dionisia's zone, Celedonio Ospin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jaime Marz came out of the goal and Celedonio Ospin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 40 minutes into the match, Jairo Criston had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jaime Marz. Jairo Criston received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Jaime Marz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Federico Pudes to make the kick off. Dionisia's Jaime Marz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celedonio Ospin in the 53rd minute of play. If Florencio Bingen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes into the match, Rucachoroi AFC's goalkeeper Mario Jayvier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Florencio Bingen. Florencio Bingen hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Federico Pudes in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mario Jayvier saved Rucachoroi AFC from getting behind. Baldomero Pirmin struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Mario Jayvier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dionisia. Jairo Criston struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Baldomero Pirmin charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baldomero Pirmin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Dionisia getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Baldomero Pirmin hit a great ball. When Rucachoroi AFC's Celedonio Ospin in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 90 played minutes Dionisia got a freekick which was hit by Baldomero Pirmin. 97 minutes into the game, one of Rucachoroi AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Mario Jayvier, was totally fooled by Dionisia's Fausto Jaunti, who 99 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The Dionisia supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Dionisia would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
