Luciano Satordi started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Astor Sengrat during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Furia Azulgrana booed when Patricio Rey was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristo Faron didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cosme Gipuzkoa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guillermo Senio went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 15th minute, Maximino Berdoi made a precise shot to the right of Florentino Domingues. Furia Azulgrana's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Paulino Giro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Patricio Rey booed when Furia Azulgrana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Senio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute, Paulino Giro made a precise shot to the right of Cosme Gipuzkoa. Patricio Rey's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 32nd minute, Carlos Belasko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Florentino Domingues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roberto Quintan in the 36th minute of the match. In the 41st minute Maximino Berdoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florentino Domingues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 43 minutes, Carlos Belasko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Patricio Rey's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Belasko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Patricio Rey booed when Furia Azulgrana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulino Giro didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Maximino Berdoi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Florentino Domingues was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Furia Azulgrana's Fermin Roland pulled a muscle in his back after 54 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 64 played minutes Furia Azulgrana got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Senio. The Patricio Rey fans' excitement grew in the 66th match minute when Patricio Rey's Maximino Berdoi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Maximino Berdoi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of Florentino Domingues when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Patricio Rey's Mario Bidun got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maximino Berdoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florentino Domingues having to interfere. If Mario Bidun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patricio Rey's Maximino Berdoi got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Maximino Berdoi came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Patricio Rey fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximino Berdoi couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Furia Azulgrana's zone, Maximino Berdoi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florentino Domingues came out of the goal and Maximino Berdoi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 93 minutes into the game, Maximino Berdoi lined in a short shot 2-3 behind a frustrated Florentino Domingues. In the 97th minute, Patricio Rey's Maximino Berdoi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Florentino Domingues. Florentino Domingues yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. Patricio Rey's Celestino Urti was substituted for Carlos Belasko.
