Ricardo Erdiano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Esteve Abaunza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. Silverio Bastians short, quick shot in the 8thth minute got Placido Guillelmo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to ALL STARS getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Pablo Evangelista hit a great ball. With his leg Placido Guillelmo managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Acequiones's Silverio Bastian fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Mauricio Nevada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ALL STARS's Placido Guillelmo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauricio Nevada in the 29th minute of play. With his leg Placido Guillelmo managed to avoid a goal in the 32ndth minute, when Acequiones's Silverio Bastian fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Acequiones's Mauricio Nevada got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Silverio Bastian struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Placido Guillelmo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Acequiones. Placido Guillelmo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauricio Nevada, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After 40 minutes, Pablo Evangelista mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ALL STARS and the Acequiones players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 40th match minute, ALL STARS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pablo Evangelista to maneuver through the defense. Urbano Urbes kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Astor Lore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Silverio Bastian to make the kick off. Placido Guillelmo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silverio Bastian, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauricio Nevada in the 59th minute of play forced ALL STARS's goalkeeper Placido Guillelmo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Astor Lore's late challenge caught a Acequiones's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Astor Lore helped the player get up and apologised. In the 60th match minute, ALL STARS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Astor Lore to maneuver through the defense. When Guaberto Herensuge came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Acequiones fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guaberto Herensuge couldn't finish the play. Benicio Mattin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th minute, Acequiones's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ricardo Erdiano fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 73rd match minute, ALL STARS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Astor Lore to maneuver through the defense. Placido Guillelmo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silverio Bastian in the 75th minute of the match. The supporters of Acequiones booed when ALL STARS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damaso Evarado didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute, Silverio Bastian left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Acequiones fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauricio Nevada in the 92nd minute of play forced ALL STARS's goalkeeper Placido Guillelmo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 96 minutes into the match, ALL STARS's goal looked a bit too open when Mauricio Nevada came free, but Placido Guillelmo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Acequiones players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
