Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Baltasar Ostargi made the kick off and thus started the match. A collision led to Pichanas getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Cristian Francho hit a great ball. Distiratsu Banzola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Venancio Pierres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pichanas's Distiratsu Banzola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Palos in the 20th minute of play. With a little luck, Pichanas's Distiratsu Banzola got control of the ball when Venancio Pierres tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Pichanas booed when Monserrat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Lonzo didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Manuel Palos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Venancio Pierres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Distiratsu Banzola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 39 minutes into the game, Pichanas's Nemesio Padro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paolo Venceslas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 43rd minute, Leon Deckert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aurelio Rivero was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 44th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 46th minute, Humberto Filipo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
Venancio Pierres blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Distiratsu Banzola having to make a save. 55 minutes into the game, Manuel Palos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Distiratsu Banzola was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Venancio Pierres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 66 minutes into the match, Pichanas's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Palos came free, but Distiratsu Banzola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Venancio Pierres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Distiratsu Banzola having to interfere. After 75 played minutes Monserrat got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Lluis. In the 77th minute, Ernesto Lluis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Distiratsu Banzola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Venancio Pierres, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. If Manuel Palos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Distiratsu Banzola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Palos in the 93rd minute of the match. 95 minutes into the game, Aurelio Rivero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pichanas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Monserrat the free kick. In the 94th minute, one of Pichanas:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pichanas.
