The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Eliseo Argoitz charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eliseo Argoitz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Juancho FC getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Eliseo Argoitz hit a great ball. Jesus Hodei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baldomiro Fliz, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Somos Nosotros's zone, Leopoldo Maule stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mateo Cuartio came out of the goal and Leopoldo Maule tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Esteve Silviano hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute, Leopoldo Maule left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Juancho FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Eliseo Argoitz was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 16 minutes into the match. Eliseo Argoitz kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Jesus Hodei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgilio Frasco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 23 played minutes Juancho FC got a freekick which was hit by Ladislao Arias. In the 26th minute, Virgilio Frasco made a precise shot to the right of Jesus Hodei. Juancho FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Juancho FC's Jesus Hodei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgilio Frasco in the 30th minute of play. Jesus Hodei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matias Mergildo, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Anastasio Edur hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. 36 minutes into the match, Juancho FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Venceslas came free, but Jesus Hodei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Viggo Malm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jesus Hodei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matias Mergildo in the 41st minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Virgilio Frasco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Somos Nosotros fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Viggo Malm's late challenge caught a Somos Nosotros's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Viggo Malm helped the player get up and apologised. In the 46th match minute, Juancho FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viggo Malm to maneuver through the defense. The Juancho FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Somos Nosotros were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Matias Mergildo to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Juancho FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Venceslas came free, but Jesus Hodei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mateo Cuartio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anastasio Edur, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Baldomiro Fliz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Jesus Hodei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 71 played minutes Somos Nosotros got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Venceslas. With a little luck, Juancho FC's Jesus Hodei got control of the ball when Baldomiro Fliz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jesus Hodei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matias Mergildo in the 82nd minute of the match. Viggo Malm struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Mateo Cuartio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Juancho FC. It was a brilliant solo performance by Somos Nosotros's Matias Mergildo when he shot the ball into the net to 1-3 in the 92nd minute. When the match was over Somos Nosotros could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Juancho FC throughout the match.
