He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tablada reached it. Through an outstanding action, after 7 minutes, Epifanio Cristos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Epifanio Cristos came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Trapiche's Modesto Victoro. But to his dismay, Modesto Victoro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After 18 minutes, Martin Sæter made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Trapiche's Paulo Gaueko tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Sixto Juvenal hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Trapiche's Paulo Gaueko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Sæter in the 24th minute of play. In the 36th minute Martin Sæter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Gaueko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 38 played minutes, Tablada's João Adolfo da Silveira shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Paulo Gaueko came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zacarias Olayo was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zacarias Olayo in the 55th minute of play forced Trapiche's goalkeeper Paulo Gaueko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Martin Sæter got free with Paulo Gaueko in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Epifanio Cristos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Modesto Victoro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd minute of the match Trapiche got a corner. Tablada's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Modesto Victoro ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Trapiche's Modesto Victoro to fire away a dangerous shot which Epifanio Cristos despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience cheered when Modesto Victoro's long shot passed Epifanio Cristos's right side. It was 2-2, 83 minutes into the match. When Vicente Palben fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tablada's protests and gave Vicente Palben a yellow card for diving instead. In the 91st minute, Vicente Palben hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Modesto Victoro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
