Juan Clementi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Favila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Venancio Bastian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luciano James during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Luciano James hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, diablo fc's Segundo Quinteros got a free kick in the 16th minute. Silvestre Millan was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Orlando Bertol capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Orlando Bertol really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Silvestre Millan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Peter in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th match minute, Ataraxia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Lonzo to maneuver through the defense. If Sergio Misael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes into the match, Venancio Bastian had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Juan Clementi. Ataraxia FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Venancio Bastian was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. diablo fc's Hugo Favila got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 41st match minute, Ataraxia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anastasio Gomez to maneuver through the defense. Narciso Quintin hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hugo Favila stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. diablo fc's Hugo Favila got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 57th minute Tomas Peter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvestre Millan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, diablo fc's goal looked a bit too open when Orlando Bertol came free, but Silvestre Millan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 64 minutes, Venancio Bastian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. diablo fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Venancio Bastian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 66th match minute, diablo fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Segundo Quinteros to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute Tomas Peter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvestre Millan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Hugo Favila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 74 minutes into the match, Sergio Misael notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of diablo fc's Silvestre Millan. Silvestre Millan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tomas Peter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hugo Favila who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 84thth minute tested the skills of Juan Clementi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Peter in the 85th minute of play forced diablo fc's goalkeeper Silvestre Millan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute, Sergio Misael made a precise shot to the right of Silvestre Millan. diablo fc's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Ataraxia FC's Tomas Peter got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 94th match minute, Ataraxia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergio Misael to maneuver through the defense. When the referee ended the match the Ataraxia FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
