The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Silverio Orlo kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Ionuț Tirulescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cuajo FC. The supporters of Los Andes booed when Cuajo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albano Iraunkor didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Cuajo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jose Dominguez came free, but Adolfo Gaizko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute, Edgardo Aurken ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ionuț Tirulescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Lisandro Chus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ionuț Tirulescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Ionuț Tirulescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lisandro Chus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute Lisandro Chus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ionuț Tirulescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th minute Segundo Guib shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolfo Gaizko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute, Jose Dominguez made a precise shot to the right of Adolfo Gaizko. Cuajo FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 47th minute Jose Dominguez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolfo Gaizko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Cuajo FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Los Andes were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when Lisandro Chus made the kick off in the second half. Cuajo FC's Adolfo Gaizko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jose Dominguez in the 51st minute of play. With a little luck, Cuajo FC's Adolfo Gaizko got control of the ball when Pablo Aznaro tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lisandro Chus in the 54th minute of play forced Los Andes's goalkeeper Ionuț Tirulescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute, Edgardo Aurken left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cuajo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Ionuț Tirulescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lisandro Chus in the 73rd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Jose Dominguez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Adolfo Gaizko. That made the score 3-3 in the 75 minute of play. Adolfo Gaizko made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Pablo Aznaro sent off a good shot on target. Ionuț Tirulescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgardo Aurken in the 82nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgardo Aurken in the 90th minute of play forced Los Andes's goalkeeper Ionuț Tirulescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lisandro Chus in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ionuț Tirulescu saved Los Andes from getting behind. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
