Esteban Vidal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Madrid C.F. When Luciano Guillelmus fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Talleres de Cordoba FC's protests and gave Luciano Guillelmus a yellow card for diving instead. In the 5th minute, Luciano Guillelmus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 7th minute Amado Peyo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteban Vidal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Real Madrid C.F's Amadeo Elorri got control of the ball when Leonides Bertin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Amadeo Elorri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iacob Irimia in the 13th minute of play. Leonides Bertin took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amadeo Elorri. Amadeo Elorri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After a rather tough play, Talleres de Cordoba FC's Marcelino Mera got a free kick in the 20th minute. 23 minutes into the match, Real Madrid C.F's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelino Mera came free, but Amadeo Elorri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Real Madrid C.F's attentive Santos Aguirre managed to snatch the ball when Fernan Asur made a throw-in in the 30th minute of the game. If Rene Fertus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelino Mera in the 38th minute of play forced Real Madrid C.F's goalkeeper Amadeo Elorri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 39 minutes into the game, Cristo Valentine recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Amadeo Elorri. Cristo Valentine showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristo Valentine to make the kick off. Amadeo Elorri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelino Mera, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. If Cristo Valentine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amadeo Elorri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelino Mera in the 61st minute of the match. Marcelino Mera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeo Elorri having to interfere. Marcelino Mera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Amadeo Elorri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Conrado Maura in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Esteban Vidal saved Talleres de Cordoba FC from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Conrado Maura in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Esteban Vidal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 77 minutes into the game, Cristo Valentine cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Amadeo Elorri was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Amadeo Elorri came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Talleres de Cordoba FC's Marcelino Mera. But to his dismay, Marcelino Mera quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. After 93 minutes of play, Talleres de Cordoba FC's Leonides Bertin made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amadeo Elorri was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 96th minute, Cristo Valentine left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Talleres de Cordoba FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Talleres de Cordoba FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
