Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Candido Tartalo to make the kick off. With a little luck, Zapala's Nicasio Michael got control of the ball when Prudencio Barea tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Mandarines fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rodolfo Jacindo during the 61st minute. Nicasio Michael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prudencio Barea in the 83rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Prudencio Barea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mandarines's supporters rose to their feet, but Prudencio Barea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicasio Michael breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Prudencio Barea struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Nicasio Michael didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mandarines. Eustaquio Behe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 94 minutes into the match, Zapala's goal looked a bit too open when Prudencio Barea came free, but Nicasio Michael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mandarines's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
