Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Silverio Nesor started the match with the kick off. Silvestre Markel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In a very dangerous position, a player in Zanjón AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 6th minute. Penalty! In the 8th minute there was a penalty for Arsenal. Bernabe Joanes stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Eliseo Frutos. 0-1. Silvestre Markel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Eliseo Frutos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edgard Ritchie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silverio Nesor in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernabe Joanes in the 17th minute of play forced Zanjón AFC's goalkeeper Eliseo Frutos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arsenal's Edgard Ritchie proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Arsenal from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Romeo Janpier got free with Edgard Ritchie in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eliseo Frutos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ladislao Gomesano, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Romeo Janpier in the 24thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Edgard Ritchie, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Edgard Ritchie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silverio Nesor, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Edgard Ritchie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silverio Nesor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edgard Ritchie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silverio Nesor in the 35th minute of play. In the 35th match minute, Arsenal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvestre Markel to maneuver through the defense. After 37 played minutes Zanjón AFC got a freekick which was hit by Lisandro Cheche. The supporters of Arsenal booed when Zanjón AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lisandro Cheche didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute, Romeo Janpier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edgard Ritchie was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ladislao Gomesano to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Bernabe Joanes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eliseo Frutos. Zanjón AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bernabe Joanes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Silverio Nesor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Edgard Ritchie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th minute Silverio Nesor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgard Ritchie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Remigio Donzel came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Arsenal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Remigio Donzel couldn't finish the play. Bernabe Joanes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseo Frutos having to interfere. When Ladislao Gomesano came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Arsenal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ladislao Gomesano couldn't finish the play. If Ladislao Gomesano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romeo Janpier in the 83rd minute of play forced Arsenal's goalkeeper Edgard Ritchie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silverio Nesor in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edgard Ritchie prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 87th match minute, Zanjón AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prudencio Abeita to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th match minute, Arsenal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ladislao Gomesano to maneuver through the defense. 91 minutes into the match, Zanjón AFC's goalkeeper Eliseo Frutos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernabe Joanes. Bernabe Joanes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseo Frutos having to interfere. Arsenal's Edgard Ritchie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silverio Nesor in the 95th minute of play. Arsenal's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
