After a defensive mix-up in Manantiales AFC's zone, Hugo Couto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jaime Paul came out of the goal and Hugo Couto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 18th minute, Boca Juniors's Juan Videl seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Juan Videl the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Boca Juniors protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Juan Videl had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Boca Juniors's Leandro Sidoro got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 王益政 who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Jaime Paul when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ramon Guillelme was shown his second yellow card after 29 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. 王益政 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Hugo Couto came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Boca Juniors fans jumped to their feet. Cosme Mergildo hit a great ball. 王益政's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jaime Paul read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Boca Juniors were awarded a corner in the 42th minute after Manantiales AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. 王益政 took the corner.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abel Txomin to strike the kick off in the second half. Jaime Paul showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 王益政, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. 54 minutes into the match, Manantiales AFC's goal looked a bit too open when 王益政 came free, but Jaime Paul reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jaime Paul showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leandro Sidoro, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 76thth minute of the game 王益政 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Manantiales AFC's Jaime Paul was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Boca Juniors booed when Manantiales AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilberto Ramone didn't get a good kick on the ball. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
