Israel Boniel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 40th minute, Casimiro Tajo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Adolfo Mercurio was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 48 minutes had been played. A collision led to Los Demás getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Adolfo Mercurio hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Israel Boniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casimiro Tajo in the 53rd minute of play. When Marian Gay fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Demás's protests and gave Marian Gay a yellow card for diving instead. Marian Gay hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. A collision led to Progresso FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Santo Hitzeder hit a great ball. Israel Boniel was out of position in the 66 minute of play, and Marian Gay capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marian Gay really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Albino Solustiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenzo Ralondo in the 81st minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Bartolo Bitxintxo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lorenzo Ralondo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albino Solustiano having to interfere. Chants of Los Demás echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Progresso FC had held the ball for most of the match.
