Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Lorenzo Ralondo made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 5th minute, Honorio Ireno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mariano Abella showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lorenzo Ralondo in the 7th minute of the match. After 8 played minutes Los xeneizes got a freekick which was hit by Siro Gartzen. In the 9th minute, Hipolito Farias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Los xeneizes's Florentino Ramirez got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Honorio Ireno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Israel Boniel having to interfere. Florentino Ramirez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Israel Boniel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Florentino Ramirez went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Santo Hitzeder managed to get in a good position for a shot. Progresso FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Santo Hitzeder was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mariano Abella breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mariano Abella took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lorenzo Ralondo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mariano Abella made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolo Bitxintxo in the 39th minute of play. Lorenzo Ralondo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mariano Abella came out and tried to block the shot, but Lorenzo Ralondo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 40th minute. After a rather tough play, Progresso FC's Santo Hitzeder got a free kick in the 45th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Honorio Ireno stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Los xeneizes's goal looked a bit too open when Lorenzo Ralondo came free, but Mariano Abella reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 59th play minutes Lorenzo Ralondo shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Mariano Abella and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 67th minute, Los xeneizes's Florentino Ramirez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Israel Boniel. Israel Boniel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Lorenzo Ralondo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Progresso FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lorenzo Ralondo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mariano Abella breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 75th match minute, Progresso FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelino Isias to maneuver through the defense. Victor Oliviero, 76 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Lorenzo Ralondo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Progresso FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lorenzo Ralondo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mariano Abella breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lorenzo Ralondo might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mariano Abella. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lorenzo Ralondo ran back to his position shaking his head. Israel Boniel made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Florentino Ramirez sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Progresso FC's Lorenzo Ralondo got a free kick in the 85th minute. Lorenzo Ralondo kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Eulalio Mark kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The supporters of Los xeneizes booed when Progresso FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santo Hitzeder didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Progresso FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
