Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gonzalo Castel started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the game, Natalio Cordario was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cienaguita's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Famatina the free kick. Natalio Cordario hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 8th minute, Gonzalo Castel made a precise shot to the right of Xaiver Urquijo. Famatina's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 15 minutes into the match, Famatina's goalkeeper Xaiver Urquijo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gonzalo Castel. Xaiver Urquijo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clemente Florinio in the 16th minute of the match. In the 17th match minute, Famatina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Dolfos to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute, Moises Herrera ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Xaiver Urquijo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After 23 played minutes Cienaguita got a freekick which was hit by Moises Herrera. When Silverio Eusko came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Famatina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silverio Eusko couldn't finish the play. Xaiver Urquijo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gonzalo Castel in the 27th minute. When Famatina's Pablo Gau in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cienaguita's goalie prevented a goal. If Amancio Raymond had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 39 played minutes Famatina got a freekick which was hit by Dario Lluc. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gonzalo Castel got free with Xaiver Urquijo in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Xaiver Urquijo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clemente Florinio, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Xaiver Urquijo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amancio Raymond in the 56th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Amancio Raymond's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Xaiver Urquijo was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Teobaldo Ladio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Xaiver Urquijo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xaiver Urquijo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Clemente Florinio went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Alfredo Dolfos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 69th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Joel Ipar. Cienaguita's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Xaiver Urquijo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amancio Raymond in the 71st minute of the match. In the 72nd match minute, Famatina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efrain Iratxo to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 77 minutes, Clemente Florinio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cienaguita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clemente Florinio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clemente Florinio in the 80th minute of play forced Famatina's goalkeeper Xaiver Urquijo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute, Gonzalo Castel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Clemente Florinio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xaiver Urquijo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonzalo Castel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 89 minutes into the match, Cienaguita's goal looked a bit too open when Pablo Gau came free, but Joel Ipar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xaiver Urquijo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abelardo Pueblo, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. In the 92nd minute, Santiago Liberto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Famatina's zone, Amancio Raymond stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xaiver Urquijo came out of the goal and Amancio Raymond tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cienaguita walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
