Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Nepes FC's Emanuel Rayman started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Matias Cesario took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Endura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Nepes FC defense, Damian Endura kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matias Cesario. The Nepes FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matias Cesario should have stopped the shot. Matias Cesario stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Damian Endura's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. An unexpected shot in the 12th minute by Alejo Bastia got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 14th minute Emanuel Rayman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Tebaldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th match minute, Nepes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Rayman to maneuver through the defense. If Alejo Bastia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damian Endura in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matias Cesario prevented the ball from getting in the gole. C.A River Plate's Raimundo Tolino got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Humberto Tebaldo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alejo Bastia went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Alejo Bastia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Tebaldo having to interfere. Damian Endura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matias Cesario having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Damian Endura stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Feliciano Socorro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 57th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Humberto Tebaldo. C.A River Plate's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 58th minute, Raimundo Tolino fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Matias Cesario made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raimundo Tolino in the 65th minute. Matias Cesario didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Damian Endura went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Nepes FC's Matias Cesario proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Nepes FC from getting a goal against them. In the 72nd minute Damian Endura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matias Cesario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matias Cesario made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Raimundo Tolino sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Nepes FC's Baldomiro Francho got a free kick in the 76th minute. A hard shot by Prospero Barea from long distance, 77 minutes into the match, got Matias Cesario's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Damian Enduras short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Matias Cesario to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Nepes FC's Celestino Ur got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Raimundo Tolino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Matias Cesario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Raimundo Tolino managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A River Plate's supporters rose to their feet, but Raimundo Tolino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matias Cesario breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Raimundo Tolino who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 87thth minute tested the skills of Matias Cesario when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Damian Endura received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Matias Cesario came out and tried to block the shot, but Damian Endura slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 93rd minute. Raimundo Tolino struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Matias Cesario didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A River Plate. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. C.A River Plate had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
