Potrerillo's Guaberto Tiadoro got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evaristo Lorencio in the 5th minute of play forced Orosmayo's goalkeeper Bartolo Dorio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With 8 minutes on the clock, Luisito Manuelo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. If Evaristo Lorencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Luisinho Meira took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Edgardo Cordarrell to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of Potrerillo booed when Orosmayo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paolo Cordaryal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th match minute, Orosmayo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicente Vieira to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd match minute, Potrerillo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donato Peyo to maneuver through the defense. If Melquiades Rayman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Potrerillo's Evaristo Lorencio got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Orosmayo's Bartolo Dorio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donato Peyo in the 40th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Melquiades Rayman in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bartolo Dorio saved Orosmayo from getting behind. 46 minutes into the game, Luisinho Meira recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Edgardo Cordarrell. Luisinho Meira showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Melquiades Rayman to strike the kick off in the second half. Bartolo Dorio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melquiades Rayman in the 55th minute of the match. Bartolo Dorio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Donato Peyo went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. If Melchor Jakobe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melquiades Rayman in the 64th minute of play forced Orosmayo's goalkeeper Bartolo Dorio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Faustino Jerardo hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Bartolo Dorio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Melquiades Rayman in the 73rd minute. After a rather tough play, Orosmayo's Paolo Cordaryal got a free kick in the 82nd minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 86 minutes into the game, when Vicente Vieira put in a rough tackle. In the 85th minute, one of Orosmayo:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Orosmayo. Orosmayo:s Bartolo Dorio showed great skill when he stopped Victorino Qwinton:s penalty. Orosmayo's Bartolo Dorio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evaristo Lorencio in the 95th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Potrerillo eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
