When Christian Frederik fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Excellent Era's protests and gave Christian Frederik a yellow card for diving instead. After 4 played minutes Excellent Era got a freekick which was hit by Christian Frederik. Ricardo Ulizes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gualterio Gora in the 6th minute of the match. Arturo Asur was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 8 minutes into the match. Gualterio Gora shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eusebio Galtero got free with Ricardo Ulizes in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 16 minutes, Rodolfo Edwardo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Excellent Era and the Versailles players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Excellent Era's Rodolfo Edwardo got a free kick in the 16th minute. Ricardo Ulizes was out of position in the 19 minute of play, and Eusebio Galtero capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eusebio Galtero really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 26th minute, Versailles's Eusebio Galtero ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ricardo Ulizes. Ricardo Ulizes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. 29 minutes into the match, Excellent Era's goal looked a bit too open when Gualterio Gora came free, but Ricardo Ulizes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Excellent Era's Ricardo Ulizes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusebio Galtero in the 45th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Niceto Eutropio made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Christian Frederik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Bernad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 60 played minutes Excellent Era got a freekick which was hit by Hector Montay. Eusebio Galtero scored 3-0 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ricardo Ulizes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gualterio Gora took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ricardo Ulizes. Ricardo Ulizes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. After 74 played minutes Versailles got a freekick which was hit by Gualterio Gora. Niceto Eutropio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Ernesto Bernad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 78 minutes into the game, Gualterio Gora was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Versailles's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Excellent Era the free kick. Ricardo Ulizes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusebio Galtero in the 81st minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Niceto Eutropio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Excellent Era's Ricardo Ulizes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonatan Lluciano in the 83rd minute of play. In the 87th minute, Apolo Lordi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Versailles fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Excellent Era's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Versailles the free kick. Niceto Eutropio kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Versailles were the better team. Versailles's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
