Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Humberto Ellande started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amador Veto in the 3rd minute of play forced Versailles's goalkeeper Ernesto Bernad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Humberto Ellande during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 7 played minutes Ave Fénix Fútbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Humberto Ellande. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Schmidt in the 10th minute of play forced Versailles's goalkeeper Ernesto Bernad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ave Fénix Fútbol Club's goalkeeper Armando Salvino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Armando Salvino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusebio Galtero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ernesto Bernad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Ellande in the 28th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Versailles's Eusebio Galtero got a free kick in the 29th minute. If Amador Veto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amador Veto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Humberto Ellande recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ave Fénix Fútbol Club's Albano Orlin got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ernesto Bernad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amador Veto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Eusebio Galtero made the kick off in the second half. Versailles's Ernesto Bernad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Schmidt in the 56th minute of play. The supporters of Versailles booed when Ave Fénix Fútbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Schmidt didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Amador Veto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 63 minutes into the match, Versailles's goal looked a bit too open when Amador Veto came free, but Ernesto Bernad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Ave Fénix Fútbol Club's Amador Veto slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ernesto Bernad. That made the score 0-1 after 63 minutes of play. Armando Salvino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelino Soin in the 69th minute of play. Amador Veto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Ernesto Bernad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 76 minutes of play, Ave Fénix Fútbol Club's Albino Vincente made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ernesto Bernad was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Ave Fénix Fútbol Club's Concetto Giolo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ernesto Bernad. That made the score 0-3 after 82 minutes of play. Ernesto Bernad was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Amador Veto showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 90 minute of play. When Elias Dominguez fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ave Fénix Fútbol Club's protests and gave Elias Dominguez a yellow card for diving instead. Elias Dominguez kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ave Fénix Fútbol Club eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
