The referee ignored SUPERTERRI FC's protests and gave Robustiano Etxepare a yellow card for diving instead. Igor Teyo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciriaco Ignazio having to interfere. In the 23rd match minute, Aston Villa F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erasmo Havier to maneuver through the defense. Leonel Gipuzkoa hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 40thth minute of the game Tobias Dalmai who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SUPERTERRI FC's Ciriaco Ignazio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

SUPERTERRI FC made a substitution. Ladislao Sengrat replaced Jose Muc. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tobias Dalmai to make the kick off. Henry Parlovic kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Leonel Gipuzkoa kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. SUPERTERRI FC made a substitution. Gerardo Orlan replaced Adrian Lluterio. Leonel Gipuzkoa hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Tobias Dalmai's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ciriaco Ignazio was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Pacorro got free with Fabian Gauargi in the 98th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Aston Villa F.C manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing SUPERTERRI FC to win.
