The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fabian Teodor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Quiroga in the 4th minute of the match. Joaquin Belarmo was out of position in the 8 minute of play, and Rafael Librado capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rafael Librado really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 11th minute, Delmar Sadurni got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joaquin Belarmo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omar Espiridion, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Ricardo Quiroga notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Saladillo's Fabian Teodor. Fabian Teodor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ricardo Quiroga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Fabian Teodor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Delmiro Cloyo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabian Teodor having to make a save. In the 20th minute, Herminio Elazar made a precise shot to the right of Fabian Teodor. Saladillo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Delmiro Cloyo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 24th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Jack Daniels FC's Elmut Loide got a free kick in the 26th minute. The supporters of Jack Daniels FC booed when Saladillo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aristides Haimar didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 32 played minutes Jack Daniels FC got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Ishmael. Omar Espiridion hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Jack Daniels FC defense, Aristides Haimar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joaquin Belarmo. The Jack Daniels FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joaquin Belarmo should have stopped the shot. Delmar Sadurni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Belarmo having to interfere. Fabian Teodor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Quiroga in the 47th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Omar Espiridion made a kick off. Omar Espiridion scored 3-2 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joaquin Belarmo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jack Daniels FC's Joaquin Belarmo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmar Sadurni in the 60th minute of play. Ricardo Quiroga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Omar Espiridion received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Joaquin Belarmo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saladillo were furious when Rafael Librado was red carded, 68 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 67th minute of the game. One of Saladillo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Jack Daniels FC:s goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aristides Haimar during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Jack Daniels FC booed when Saladillo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aristides Haimar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joaquin Belarmo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omar Espiridion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st minute, Omar Espiridion left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Saladillo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-3. In the 84th minute, Omar Espiridion ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joaquin Belarmo was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-3. After 87 played minutes Jack Daniels FC got a freekick which was hit by Elmut Loide. In the 90th minute, Delmar Sadurni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Saladillo's Fabian Teodor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Quiroga in the 92nd minute of play. After having played for 94 minutes, Gustavo Ishmael managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jack Daniels FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustavo Ishmael was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Delmar Sadurni hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Saladillo's Fabian Teodor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmiro Cloyo in the 98th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, Saladillo could leave the field as winners, despite Jack Daniels FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
