Zeledon Vedillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaw Kornasiewicz in the 6th minute of the match. In the last second Zeledon Vedillo throw himself and got hold of the ball when Gustaw Kornasiewicz in the 7thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. A collision led to Defensores de Nuñez getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Cido Goiano hit a great ball. The supporters of Murphy AFC booed when Defensores de Nuñez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Americo Pueblo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Justo Acosta struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Zeledon Vedillo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Murphy AFC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaw Kornasiewicz in the 21st minute of play forced Defensores de Nuñez's goalkeeper Zeledon Vedillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the game, 傅桑镇 was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Murphy AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Defensores de Nuñez the free kick. In the 35th match minute, Defensores de Nuñez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Americo Pueblo to maneuver through the defense. Faustino Urbes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gustaw Kornasiewicz made a kick off. Defensores de Nuñez's Zeledon Vedillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justo Acosta in the 52nd minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, Defensores de Nuñez's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaw Kornasiewicz came free, but Zeledon Vedillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ernesto Toli hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 55th minute Alejo Amaya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Lauro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zacarias Lauro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Lucila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Defensores de Nuñez getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Jonathan Satordi hit a great ball. In the 59th minute of the match Justo Acosta shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zeledon Vedillo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 60 minutes into the game, Gustaw Kornasiewicz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gustaw Kornasiewicz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zeledon Vedillo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Eustacio Quentin's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Zacarias Lauro firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Cristian Lucila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alejo Amaya scored 0-1 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zacarias Lauro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Defensores de Nuñez eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
