Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) MTO Fc's Teodoro Pancho started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Elias Mogel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Desiderio Gartzea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimeno Veronica in the 6th minute of play forced MTO Fc's goalkeeper Desiderio Gartzea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 8 minutes into the match, MTO Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Jimeno Veronica came free, but Desiderio Gartzea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Savas Kanonidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Quinton in the 9th minute of the match. Elias Mogel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teodoro Pancho in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Savas Kanonidis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 15th minute, Felipe Chayo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th minute, one of C.A. Nueva Chicago:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for C.A. Nueva Chicago. In the 21st minute Victor Quinton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Savas Kanonidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th match minute, MTO Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesus Procopio to maneuver through the defense. If Elias Mogel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the match, MTO Fc's goalkeeper Desiderio Gartzea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elias Mogel. After having played for 45 minutes, Teodoro Pancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MTO Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teodoro Pancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jimeno Veronica was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Elias Mogel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. C.A. Nueva Chicago's Savas Kanonidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Quinton in the 56th minute of play. A collision led to C.A. Nueva Chicago getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Isaias Galindo hit a great ball. Desiderio Gartzea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Mogel in the 60th minute of play. Jimeno Veronica's late challenge caught a MTO Fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jimeno Veronica helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, C.A. Nueva Chicago's Jimeno Veronica got a free kick in the 62nd minute. A collision led to C.A. Nueva Chicago getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Jimeno Veronica hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Victor Quinton kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Savas Kanonidis. That made the score 0-1 in the 72 minute of play. Lucio Vitin hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. If Elias Mogel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of C.A. Nueva Chicago booed when MTO Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidoro Lucado didn't get a good kick on the ball. 87 minutes into the match, C.A. Nueva Chicago's Horacio Urtsua broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. MTO Fc's Desiderio Gartzea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias Mogel in the 91st minute of play. After a rather tough play, C.A. Nueva Chicago's Luciano Txartiko got a free kick in the 95th minute. The MTO Fc players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
