After 45 played minutes, Chorillo FC's Ramon Libertad shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ruperto Bastia came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Chorillo FC reached it. In the 47th minute, Palermo's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Eulalio Abaunza fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sergio Petri was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Palermo's Maximino Bilbo got a free kick in the 58th minute. Mateo Abechuco's late challenge caught a Palermo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mateo Abechuco helped the player get up and apologised. Emanuel Gaitano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruperto Bastia having to interfere. Ruperto Bastia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Gaitano in the 83rd minute of play. In the 85th minute of the match Mateo Abechuco sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ruperto Bastia skillfully saved the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emanuel Gaitano in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ruperto Bastia saved Palermo from getting behind. Palermo's Amador Pabla pulled a muscle in his back after 91 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Arturo Arlo charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arturo Arlo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 93rd match minute, Chorillo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arturo Arlo to maneuver through the defense. Chorillo FC's Bonifacio Licerio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergio Petri in the 94th minute of play. After 95 played minutes Palermo's Sergio Petri stole the ball from his opponents and shot the ball towards the upper left corner, but Bonifacio Licerio stretched himself as far as he could, and stopped the ball from passing the line. robbing Chorillo FC of the goal.
