Leo Aires showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Venancio Bidun in the 7th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Eleuterio Benvide got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anastasio Ruy hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Venancio Bidun was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 16th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 19 minutes into the match, C.A. Parque Norte's goal looked a bit too open when Venancio Bidun came free, but Leo Aires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to C.A. Parque Norte getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Ladislao Indartsu hit a great ball. Leo Aires showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emiliano Ramond, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Ladislao Indartsu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, Javier Bertin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of C.A. Parque Norte booed when San Lorenzo de Almagro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Obeko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ladislao Indartsu in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Javier Bertin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in San Lorenzo de Almagro's zone, Eleuterio Benvide stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Javier Bertin came out of the goal and Eleuterio Benvide tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leo Aires took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gervasio Fidensio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. C.A. Parque Norte's Leo Aires played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Venancio Bidun in the 45th minute of play. After 46 played minutes C.A. Parque Norte got a freekick which was hit by Anastasio Ruy. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ladislao Indartsu made a kick off. Leo Aires made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Venancio Bidun in the 55th minute of play. Gervasio Fidensio might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leo Aires. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gervasio Fidensio ran back to his position shaking his head. C.A. Parque Norte's Leo Aires proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save C.A. Parque Norte from getting a goal against them. In the 58th minute, San Lorenzo de Almagro's Emiliano Ramond ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Leo Aires. Leo Aires yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Javier Bertin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eleuterio Benvide in the 63rd minute of play. Gervasio Fidensio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leo Aires made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emiliano Ramond in the 93rd minute. Javier Bertin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eleuterio Benvide, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The San Lorenzo de Almagro supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing San Lorenzo de Almagro would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
