Ignacio Eriz hit a great ball. During the 8th minute of the match Ignacio Eriz completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ignacio Eriz a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Sangre Sudor y Gloria booed when Paternal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ignacio Eriz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albino Guillelmus's late challenge caught a Sangre Sudor y Gloria's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albino Guillelmus helped the player get up and apologised. In the 10th minute, Albino Guillelmus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Javier Harkaitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inocencio Santikurtz in the 11th minute of the match. The supporters of Sangre Sudor y Gloria booed when Paternal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesar Chap didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Paternal's Javier Harkaitz got control of the ball when Ignacio Loco tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 17 played minutes Paternal got a freekick which was hit by Esteban Cordarius. In the 18th minute of the match Humberto Precioso shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Javier Harkaitz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Paternal's goalkeeper Javier Harkaitz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ignacio Loco. Ignacio Loco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Javier Harkaitz having to interfere. Ignacio Loco was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 31st minute. Sangre Sudor y Gloria's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Inocencio Santikurtz in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Javier Harkaitz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Inocencio Santikurtz to make the kick off. Javier Harkaitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inocencio Santikurtz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ignacio Loco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Javier Harkaitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ignacio Loco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Javier Harkaitz having to interfere. 75 minutes in the game, Inocencio Santikurtz dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Inocencio Santikurtz struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Javier Harkaitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sangre Sudor y Gloria. Albino Guillelmuss short, quick shot in the 85thth minute got Leon Ovando to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Inocencio Santikurtz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Javier Harkaitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Albino Guillelmus left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Paternal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Sangre Sudor y Gloria's Inocencio Santikurtz got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Javier Harkaitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignacio Loco, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute.
