Argüello FC's Hector Gaztea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saverio Vela in the 11th minute of play. Gándara's Sebastian Quexal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godfredo Llorenc in the 14th minute of play. Ezequiel Tano hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. When Saverio Vela came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Gándara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saverio Vela couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernabe Vedillo in the 21st minute of play forced Argüello FC's goalkeeper Hector Gaztea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saverio Vela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hector Gaztea having to interfere. The supporters of Argüello FC booed when Gándara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernabe Vedillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saverio Vela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Hector Gaztea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alonzo Indalecio kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Argüello FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Leonardo Venerando in the 46th minute.

The wind increased when Godfredo Llorenc made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Bernabe Vedillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gándara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernabe Vedillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bernabe Joanes hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Bernabe Vedillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hector Gaztea having to interfere. Sebastian Quexal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godfredo Llorenc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Argüello FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Leonardo Venerando hit a great ball. Saverio Vela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernabe Vedillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Hector Gaztea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 82 minutes into the game, one of Argüello FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Clodoveo Rocendo walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. When Horacio Shepherd fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Argüello FC's protests and gave Horacio Shepherd a yellow card for diving instead. Horacio Shepherd hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Saverio Vela recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Bernabe Vedillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Many of Gándara's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Gándara may have spent more time on the ball, but Argüello FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
