After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Felipe Hug managed to get in a good position for a shot. Almafuerte FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Felipe Hug was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Everardo Vellito breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Felipe Hug took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Everardo Vellito to make any attempt to save it. In the 15th minute Raul Telmo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Israel Valiente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Everardo Vellito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Hug in the 23rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Freddy Patxi got free with Everardo Vellito in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 30 minutes, Luis Ostots mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GEMICA and the Almafuerte FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Almafuerte FC booed when GEMICA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Ostots didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felipe Hug sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luis Ostots struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Israel Valiente didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GEMICA. Israel Valiente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raul Telmo in the 44th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raul Telmo in the 46th minute of play forced Almafuerte FC's goalkeeper Israel Valiente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Israel Valiente made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luis Ostots in the 54th minute. Everardo Bikendi's late challenge caught a GEMICA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Everardo Bikendi helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Almafuerte FC's Everardo Bikendi got a free kick in the 55th minute. When Luis Ostots, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 56 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Israel Valiente was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Freddy Patxi struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Everardo Vellito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Almafuerte FC. Felipe Hug received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Everardo Vellito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Santos Calixto's late challenge caught a Almafuerte FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Santos Calixto helped the player get up and apologised. In the 76th minute, Luis Ostots ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Israel Valiente was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. If Raul Telmo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Almafuerte FC's Everardo Bikendi got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Raul Telmo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. GEMICA's Everardo Vellito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Hug in the 97th minute of play.
