Joel Galeno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raul Telmo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Luis Ostots fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GEMICA's protests and gave Luis Ostots a yellow card for diving instead. Luis Ostots kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. If Leonardo Gaufred had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Everardo Vellito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiburcio Maidana in the 27th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Luis Ostots's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joel Galeno was relentless in the 78th minute of the game.
