The tension between the New Team and the Hickman AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Severiano Ikatz hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Felipe Sal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 14 in the game by Amadeo Miro from a close distance when the talented Delmar Maore managed to make a qualified save. Hickman AFC's players were relieved. Felipe Sal was extremely unlucky when he, in the 15th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Adrian Loco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ricardo Maties's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Remigio Beat's late challenge caught a Hickman AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Remigio Beat helped the player get up and apologised. After 19 played minutes New Team got a freekick which was hit by Remigio Beat. After 26 minutes, Fernando Sotero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the New Team and the Hickman AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. New Team's Felipe Sal suffered a concussion after 31 minutes and had to leave the field. Maximo Endira charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maximo Endira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Hickman AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 31st minute. Penalty! Severiano Ikatz shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Paulo Etxepare struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Adrian Loco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hickman AFC. When Fernando Sotero was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 39 minutes had been played. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Amadeo Miro to strike the kick off in the second half. Ricardo Maties received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. In the 57th minute, Isaias Eguerdi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Ricardo Maties managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hickman AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricardo Maties was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adrian Loco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paulo Etxepare sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ricardo Maties came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Hickman AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardo Maties couldn't finish the play. Hickman AFC's Ricardo Maties got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pedro Gorka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Adrian Loco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ricardo Maties came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Hickman AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardo Maties couldn't finish the play. A collision led to New Team getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Remigio Beat hit a great ball. Ricardo Maties blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adrian Loco having to make a save. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
