The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erubiel Esiquio during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Rodeo's Erubiel Esiquio got a free kick in the 5th minute. When New Team's Amadeo Miro, in the 6th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for New Team. Saverio Refugio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amadeo Miro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luis Peio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Isaias Eguerdi fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored New Team's protests and gave Isaias Eguerdi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 12th minute, Isaias Eguerdi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Rodeo's Luis Peio in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye New Team's goalie prevented a goal. If Luis Peio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Remigio Beat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felipe Sal struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Saverio Refugio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for New Team. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Luis Peio put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Adrian Loco. Adrian Loco was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Luis Peio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 28 minute of play. Luis Peio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Adrian Loco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Erubiel Esiquio made a precise shot to the right of Adrian Loco. New Team's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0.

Luis Peio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. New Team's Felipe Sal got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Felipe Sal took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Saverio Refugio to make any attempt to save it. 66 minutes into the game, Fernando Sotero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. New Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rodeo the free kick. In the 66th minute, Fernando Sotero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rodeo's Luis Peio managed to work through New Team's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Luis Peio dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After having played for 74 minutes, Luis Peio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rodeo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Peio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Remigio Beat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Amadeo Miro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adrian Loco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niceto Enaut in the 91st minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Rodeo fans cheered their team off the field, for while New Team had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
