Victorino Guerrero charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Victorino Guerrero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 13th match minute, Apayerey was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victorino Guerrero to maneuver through the defense. If Dante Montez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Everardo Mambru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Nuno in the 22nd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ramon Ishmael during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 26th match minute, Apayerey was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos Nuno to maneuver through the defense. Everardo Mambru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jesus Chayo, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Dante Montez notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Apayerey's Gonzalo Ponce. Everardo Mambru came out of the goal and Marcos Nuno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcos Nuno was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, C.A Riberas Del Paraná's Narciso Francesco got a free kick in the 51st minute. After 53 played minutes C.A Riberas Del Paraná got a freekick which was hit by Uriel Mazuste. Ramon Ishmael was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 54th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Jesus Chayo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Everardo Mambru having to interfere. Everardo Mambru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomero Poz in the 59th minute of play. Dante Montez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Gonzalo Ponce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute Fulgencio Porfiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonzalo Ponce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos Nuno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jesus Chayo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Everardo Mambru made a huge save. Jesus Chayo struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Everardo Mambru didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Apayerey. If Fulgencio Porfiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gonzalo Ponce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fulgencio Porfiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Apayerey's Marcos Nuno in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.A Riberas Del Paraná's goalie prevented a goal. Jesus Chayo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Everardo Mambru made a huge save. C.A Riberas Del Paraná succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Apayerey had controlled the match.
